Şeyda Özçalışkan is a SILC Alumni Member (former SILC Postdoc, University of Chicago) and member of our Spatial Network.
Dr. Şeyda Özçalişkan is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychology at Georgia State University.
As a postdoctoral scholar at the University of Chicago, Dr. Özçalişkan worked with Dr. Susan Goldin-Meadow and was involved with the Spatial Intelligence and Learning Center (SILC). Continuing her earlier investigations, she is focusing on children’s earliest linguistic and cognitive abilities as they reveal themselves both in speech and in gesture.
