TNSC Goals: 1: Establish a way to communicate

TNSC LogoGoal 1: Delineate focal problem areas in spatial cognition and establish a common vocabulary and a cross-disciplinary understanding of methodology

  1. Hold a series of workshops over three years that would delineate these focal problem areas for an interdisciplinary and international community.
  2. Fund a strong system of scholarly exchanges over three years that would include visits of varying duration at varying levels of professional development, and that would include lab-embedded visits, which we believe are extremely productive
  3. Organize an International Spatial Cognition Summer Institute that would provide common training for junior researchers at a crucial phase in their professional development, and that would involve exposure to vocabularies and methodologies of other disciplines studying spatial cognition.
